Role alignment

Does the candidate's job title, responsibilities and seniority actually match your brief? Lucuma reads titles in context, a Project Manager at a Big Four firm is not the same as one at a five-person start-up, and weighs how closely their recent roles map to the role you are filling.

Relevant experience, not just years on the page

It separates the years that count for this role from total career length. A construction PM's years count toward a construction PM role; marketing years at a construction firm do not. A 15-year generalist and a 5-year specialist are scored correctly, and the relevant years are shown.

Your exact criteria

Semantic boolean that reads intent rather than literal words, required keywords with a clear present-versus-missing breakdown, plus location, sector and minimum-years filters. Upload the job spec and Lucuma calibrates the weighting to that specific role.

What CV formats does Lucuma support?

Lucuma fully supports both PDFs and Word documents (.docx). If your CVs or job specs are in Google Docs, just export as .docx. If a CV does not contain sufficient data to screen accurately, no employer names, job titles or career timeline, it is flagged for manual review rather than scored on incomplete information.

How many CVs can I screen at once?

Lucuma is explainable by design. Every score comes with a plain-English reason, so there is no black box and you can audit or override any result. It scores against the objective criteria you set, and when a CV lacks the data to score fairly it is flagged for manual review rather than guessed. Lucuma never auto-rejects a candidate: it ranks and explains, you decide. This keeps a human in the loop, which matters under the latest UK and EU rules on automated decisions in hiring.

Is candidate data stored? What about GDPR?

CV data is processed to generate your results and is not stored on our servers after your session ends. Agency and Enterprise plans include a full GDPR Data Processing Agreement. All data is processed within the EU. We do not use candidate data to train AI models.

Can I integrate with my ATS?

Yes. Every paid plan includes ATS-ready export (CSV and JSON) that works with Bullhorn, Vincere, JobAdder, Loxo and more. Agency and Enterprise plans add live, two-way ATS integration: import candidates and their CVs directly from Loxo or SAP SuccessFactors, screen them in Lucuma, and push the scores back. More ATS integrations are on our roadmap, so contact us about yours.

What happens after the free trial?

After 14 days your account moves to a read-only view, you can see previous results but cannot run new screenings. No charge is made. To continue, pick a plan and add a payment method. Your results, pipeline notes and settings are all preserved.

Can I cancel at any time?

Yes. Monthly plans can be cancelled at any time from your account settings, you keep access until the end of your paid period. Annual plans can be cancelled within 14 days for a full refund. No phone calls required.
