These terms govern your use of Lucuma, the AI CV screening service provided by Marvanova Ltd ("we", "us"). By creating an account or using the service you agree to these terms.
Lucuma screens and scores CVs against criteria you set and returns ranked, explainable shortlists. Lucuma is a decision-support tool. It ranks and explains; it does not make hiring decisions, and it does not automatically reject candidates. You remain responsible for all hiring decisions.
You must provide accurate information, keep your login secure, and are responsible for activity under your account. You must be authorised to use the service on behalf of your organisation.
We offer a 14-day free trial with no card required. At the end of the trial your account moves to a read-only view unless you choose a paid plan. No charge is made unless you add a payment method and select a plan.
Paid plans are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis. Prices are shown exclusive of VAT. Monthly plans can be cancelled at any time and remain active until the end of the paid period. Annual plans may be cancelled within 14 days for a full refund.
Our handling of personal data is described in our Privacy Policy. For candidate data you upload, you are the controller and we act as your processor; Agency and Enterprise plans include a Data Processing Agreement.
We own the Lucuma software and brand. You retain ownership of the data you upload and the results generated for you. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive licence to use the service during your subscription.
The service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. Screening outputs are intended to assist, not replace, professional judgement, and results vary by role, candidate pool and criteria. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free.
To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for hiring decisions made using the service. Our total liability in any 12-month period is limited to the fees you paid us in that period. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law.
You may cancel at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for breach of these terms. On termination your right to use the service ends.
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction.
